Update from Omaha

So what's been going on in Omaha you may ask?

Lots of work.  I just completed day 15 of 20 of my current software implementation.  12 hour days, 35 min commute both ways.  5 more days to go.
Also a little trail running. (:

what i'm avoiding.  saying out loud my true desire.  i'm afraid to step off of the edge.  it's that same feeling when i'm standing on a ledge, 30-60 feet above a body of water.  do i really want to do this? etc, etc, etc.  well, the ex ceteras are coming to an end.  After this current go-live, I will be delving into the unknown.
So far, every desire that i've said out loud has come true.  Whatever i speak into existence happens:
1. A&P.  Small deal, yet big consequences.  I crashed a class a few years ago as a prereq for PA school.  Others had to write essays to get into this accelerated course.  I showed up with all my belongings packed into my buick, parked my car, skateboarded to the class and got entry that day.  Found an apartment that night.
2. 911 Ambulance EMT.  A dear friend out of love suggested that i get a simple non-emergency ambulance job. I wouldn't settle.  I needed at least 1000 hours of emergency ambulance experience.  I had a job within a week.
3. International medical volunteer.  I spent a month at the only trauma hospital in Haiti.  I gained a new life perspective here, and met other volunteers that confuse me with their level of sacrifice.
4. Met and then traveled across the country and stayed with my most life changing author for 3 weeks, Brad Blanton of Radical Honesty, later making and spending $2400 to take his 8 day workshop arranging all of this from Thailand.
4. Approx $50/hr job.  I found out when i was making $12 an hour that I could be making $50 an hour doing the exact same thing!  I am now making that much.
5. Thailand. I've now been there twice for a month in length each time.  I've dove to 60 ft, jumped from 60ft, gotten 30+ massages, dranked countless coconuts, and rode scooters like a boss.  A very safe and cautious boss.

My next desire is to start being the change i want to see in the world.  I want to stop deforestation, i want to stop overfishing.  I want to shift the way we think about money so that we start valuing luscious and sexy pieces of nature, like a pristinely kept forest or garden.  I want to live in a sex-positive environment where i'm not putting my livelihood at risk any time i ask for a hug or answer a question openly about what i'm up to when i go to New York.
So i'm going after it.  I think i'll visit my parents for a couple of days and then head to new york and dance some more with Unicorn Smack.  From there, i'm not sure where i'll head next.  I'll just go where the wind takes me.  (love and miss you Brent.)

Fun side note:  My current fun little bizniss thought is to get hospitals to convert their grass patches to food gardens and use the produce to feed their staff and patients.  Saves the kitchen money...
